We went on a leadership retreat, one that would get us out of our comfort zone. It was an amazing experience. It was cold the first night and I was a little disappointed we couldn't have campfires (I didn't realize no campfires), but that was just a little adjustment. Dakota and Louie were our fabulous guides. They shared experiences, expansive... More

Fantastic trip. They did a great job of prepping us for our journey prior to our arrival. Our two guides were awesome...very prepared, knowledgeable and helpful. The trip up and down is tough, but absolutely beautiful and well worth it. Once at the bottom, there are other day hikes that are definitely worth the time and effort. The Wildland Trekking... More

What an amazing trip! Not everyone sees the bottom of the Grand Canyon - it takes a fair amount of effort to get there - but it is certainly worth it! The folks at Wildland Trekking made sure we got there and back safely. Our guides Doug and Jacqui were nothing short of amazing. They knew all about the geology... More

We did this particular trip because we were able to get to the belly of the Grand Canyon, so we feel we got the whole experience of going front the top to the bottom and back up again. We were never hungry and the food was amazing. We used Wildland's gear and it was top notch. Our guide was super... More

We did the beginner level hike and it provided great views and great photos(I am a serious amateur). Shane, our guide, was great at balancing the needs of all members and was also respectful towards the various personal backgrounds of all involved. He provided considerable scientific perspective on the region and our conversations covered a great range of topics affecting... More

The trip was spectacular in every way. Our guide, Michael Wichman, was fantastic...he gave us an education about the people, geology, and history of the canyon, and he always put our safety and enjoyment at the forefront. The meals were delicious, all prepared by Michael...beyond expectations. The trip was described as strenuous, which was accurate, but it was worth the... More

Guide met us on time with supplies, hiking poles etc. It had been snowing and the path was icy, but the guide (Jeff Nickel) had strap-on spikes to make the hike safe and easy. Jeff also prepared lunch and made the trip all-together very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

This was our first trip with Wildland Trekking. It was a fabulous experience and one we'll never forget. Kevin was a great guide and his cooking was remarkable given that everything was prepared using camping stoves. The trek started at the South Rim and went down Bright Angel Trail through Indian Garden. We woke up on Christmas morning next to... More
