This is my favorite hike in Grand Teton National Park. Take the boat across Jenny Lake (fee $) then hike the trail up into Cascade Canyon, passing Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point until you are up in the canyon, so close to the majestic Tetons....More

We walked from the Jenny Lake boat dock up to the T junction with Mount Owen on our left past the river in dramatic flow and glorious sunshine. The fantastic views just kept on coming and we saw lots of marmots, including the less familiar...More

This was one of our hikes we did in the park and it was amazing. Went in late June. This is a difficult trail but spectacular views. It is my favorite hike in our 10 day Yellowstone and Grand Teton trip. Near the last 2...More

Gorgeous hike up the canyon with the Tetons' spires towering above. We were backpacking up to South Fork and got to watch a moose. It's a gradual climb after the first mile of switchbacks. Start early to avoid crowds!

This was one of our favorite hikes on our trip. Very steep for a while leading to nice panoramic views. There is a lot of talk about the lake views but we preferred the interior views of the mountains, very dramatic and picturesque. After reaching...More

This is a beautiful place to go if you can walk the steep inclines. It is the elevation that gets to you. The walk is fairly easy and the views are fantastic. I would like to do this again

Would recommend going all the way to Lake Solitude. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time - leave early in the morning. We saw moose up close twice. The variety of scenery is fantastic and keeps it interesting throughout.
