Pros: easy access from the Gatlinburg visitor center, a nice short wilderness hike, a nice babbling brook off to the side. Cons: the waterfall itself is not impressive it is basically a 20-25 foot waterfall and there's not really anything to see you walk up...More

This is an underwhelming but sweet little waterfalls that is accessed from right behind the visitor center. Although the falls is not too much, the easy trail is cool in the summer heat and very attractive. Overall well worth the 30 minute round trip walk.

This was a nice little falls area. We were the only ones there and it was nice to have the nature to ourselves. There is a trail to the right of the falls where we walked about 2 miles in and walked 2 miles out....More

We went for a Sunday drive and ended up here. Several families were on the trail — even ones with baby strollers. The park made it very pleasant in spite of high heat and temperatures otherwise.

I would say it's highly unlikely cause it is so close to the visitor center and the foot traffic is pretty high. Just basing this on assumptions, as this trail did not feel remote or isolated at all.

Its probably 30 minutes for an adult by themselves. With kids it was closer to 45 or more. There could be lots of stops to look at flowers and the creek.
