We had a blast on this experience! It was a little cold and rainy so I do suggest bringing more than a light jacket and pants. You are provided with rain/wind gear which is extremely helpful but if you are not used to cold weather I suggest packing some sock liners/glove liners/and beanie. Layers are a must! I believe our... They take you to the top of Haleakala National Park for the sunrise and then you take a self guided bike ride down the mountain. Equipment is fairly new, they provide rain and wind gear, great information about the mountain and surrounding areas, and staff along the way if you need anything. There is a great little town to stop... More

The driver was great told us some interesting facts on the way up to the top. The instructions and directions for the bike ride down were excellent. The sunrise was amazing. The bike ride down was great, it was nice to be able to ride at our own pace. The ride was easy and not intimidating at all. I would... More

We were provided instructions, map and safety tips. We decided it was not a race so we took our time, stopped and enjoyed the views (amazing!) and made sure everyone was ok before we proceeded. It was a true experience and now I can cross off the bucket list. I would recommend this bike company. All equipment was in good... More

My husband and I wanted to see the sunrise on Haleakala and figured we'd add a little adventure to the mix. Be prepared for a very early wake up and a bit of waiting prior to sunrise. It is well worth it for the perfect spot at sunrise. There are no meals or snacks provided, so be sure to bring... More

The whole trip was a delight. We were kitted out with wet weather gear, (which we didn't need luckily) backpacks and helmets before getting into the minibus for the ascent. Komo, our driver told loads of cheesy jokes on the way up the mountain. We had great photo opportunities at the crater and then part way down, we stopped for... More

We can mark this off our bucket list as a great adventure in touring the volcano and taking in the breathtaking views. We had an awesome driver & guide who shared a lot of interesting facts about plants, animals, the volcano and the history of Maui on our drive up the mountain. He stressed safety numerous times before letting us... More

We did the sunrise on the crater and the bike ride down. They were thoughtful enough to get us there early enough to get a good spot to view the crater at sunrise. (Bring lots of clothes) gloves and hats. We cannot say enough about Bill, the tour guide he is great. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, safety conscious and... More

See the sunrise on Haleakala and then ride a self-guided tour down the mountain. Definitely worth getting up at zero-dawn-thirty! You'd be hard-pressed to do anything as exhilarating as flying down Haleakala (look Ma, no peddling!). And watching the sun rise is akin to a spiritual activity.
