This beach is accessible during any tide

We enjoyed visiting there during low tide. Fun walking around the beach and enjoying the scenery. Watch out for eagles and ravens.

A gorgeous bach with lots of driftwood/logs and sea stacks. Bring a picnic and enjoy a surf side meal!

This stop on our trip around through the Olympic National Park was my absolute favorite. Even on a cloudy, rainy day it was worth the visit. The beach has no sand. It is covered with smooth rocks. As the waves would retreat the rocks would clack against each other making really interesting natural music. The entire beach was covered with... More

I will preface this by saying I have fairly limited mobility due to my size, a hip replacement and a bad left leg in general due to birth defect. I knew going in getting to this beach and maneuvering around was going to be difficult, but I really wanted to go. The path down to the beach is somewhat steep... More

Afternoon walk on the beach provided ample viewing of submerged animal life through clear water. The eroded coastline provides stone outcroppings approachable by foot or kayak depending on the tide and weather. The remnants of romantic campfires linger close to the tree line below the coastal highway. The wind and the waves are relaxing yet numbing to the mind and... More

We got to the beach in a rainy day, but we still had a lot of fun. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We had 5 adults, 1 teenager and a dog. We had a most fabulous time there.

For me, well worth the travel time to get here. Free access, not crowded and just another beautiful place to be. The pacific was quite angry this day and I am sure that kept allot of people at home. But the thicker the weather the more I respect it. Bring your water proof boots and a rain jacket never hurts.... More

We stopped here after a nice birthday lunch at the Kalaloch Lodge. There is a good sized parking area above the beach. About a quarter mile trail down to the beach. Lots of drift wood to traverse to get to the actual beach.

Really just look at all the photos that are posted, and you can see why you need to make a point to go here. One great reason is that you don't have to pay to have access to it like many national parks. It's also a great place to visit if you are trying to see several places in one... More

This place is breathtaking. The view over the ocean with the rocks in the water and on the beach, especially the white logs on the beach are amazing. The beach is a short walk from the parking lot and down some steps. We wore our water shoes so we could climb on rocks without hurting our feet. You have to... More
