My boyfriend and I were alone on the beach. It was October and a little chilly but the wind and sea air were invigorating. I climbed up a large boulder and just stared out into the ocean. Very peaceful and beautiful. I would love to go there again.

Great, scenic place to spend many hours. Very popular and trail is easy - but not so easy to get on Beach as logs, rocks and water. Always wear water shoes. Parking and rest rooms.

The views of the ocean, rocks and sea stacks are dazzling at this beach. Very photogenic coastline and beach combing was great too.

Popular place to visit by both tourists and locals. This place was recommended by the owner of the small store we stopped to get gas and snacks. A couple and their dog were having a pictorial done while we were there. Several foreigners were walking around with their cameras just like me. Very easy access from the main road via... More

We made it to Ruby Beach in time for sunset -- what a treat!! Be prepared to climb over some driftwood at the bottom of the trail. We got lucky and it was mostly clear near the river outlet, but some days it isn't as easy depending on where the tide leaves the logs. Huge expanse of beach where we... More

I loved Ruby Beach! I saw my first anemone and starfish on this beach! It was so exciting! the other thing was that I visited a little off season (end of Sept), so there were no crowds. It was amazing! The beaches at Olympic are so different than the beaches I've been at in Florida and Gulf Shores, Alabama. It's... More

I could happily spend hours and hours walking this beach--looking at the stones, driftwood, anemones, sea stacks.

A great stop along the road. Very easy to get to and is a very different view! Lots of driftwood so once on the beach you need to walk over it to get to the water.

October 2016 was my 3rd visit to Ruby Beach and we went at Sunset and it was incredible. The colors in the sky and how the light reflect off the water, the Seastacks, logs and rocks. This is a beautiful beach to see at any time. Just go see it for yourself.

Just returned from a tour of the Olympic Peninsula and NW Oregon. This was my favorite beach of those we visited. There is a ton of driftwood you have to navigate around/over to get to the sand of the beach but it is worth it! Beautiful rock stacks. Visit at low tide and explore some of the rocks to spot...
