Blue water!

It's beautiful, the water is blue! Surrounded by gorgeous green forests. It's was raining on our trip but still such beautiful scenery.

When in the Olympic National Park, rain is expected. Since much of it is a rain forest, you will get wet. The Hoh River snakes its way through lush green trees and tall sword ferns. Even in the rain, you will enjoy the beauty of the park and the river.

I loved my drive along the Hoh River. The water is pristine looking and the blue colors that water in rivers should be! I could not help but stop numerous times to hear the water and take pictures. Beautiful and peaceful.

This river winds around all over. The milky blue color is beatiful and makes for some great photos when you have all the nice green trees and a cloudy sky.

Getting more than 120 inches of rain a year, the rainforest has to be seen to be believed! There are three trails at the visitor's center. Any of the trails will give you some great views. The shortest, Hall of Mosses is my favorite. If you are going to visit Olympic National Park, you must visit the Hoh Rainforest!

We did the Creek trail and the Hoh River Trail for about 2-3 miles, and both were excellent - huge trees, lots of moss and ferns, varied forest conditions, and amazing vistas of the River. Only drag about the Hoh is that it takes a good 30 minutes to get from 101 to the parking lot.

It was the most fun me and family have had in along time just chilling next to the beautiful river, talking and taking it all in. We will be back. Thanks!

On our visit to the NP and the water fall trail, we viewed the river as it runs along side the road to the falls. There are places to park your car and get a better look.

Visited on 5/6/16. I hiked about 4 miles into the Hoh River Trail from the Hoh Rain Forest visitor center, which took me about 3 hours. This trail is a lot better than the Hall of Mosses. There's so much green everywhere, but there are also parts where the sun will come through and you can be right at the... More

Parts of the Hoh remind me of Alaska with rushing water and glacial-like beaches of rock. You can fish, perhaps even raft? this river. Looked like fun; spend some time.
