Hurricane Ridge Visitors Center is a must see for those of us who are maybe a little older, have bad knees and can't spend days backpacking into this wildly beautiful, rugged and weather challenged National Park. On good weather days, this maybe the only spot...More

Fantastic views of the Olympic Mountains and glaciers. The rangers and exhibits were informative. The drive down the ridge was harrowing! There are very steep drop-offs and hairpin curves with no guard rails. We encountered numerous bikers and our swerves to avoid them were chilling!

View from the visitor center is breathtaking if its a sunny day. Trail to the ridge is also quite easy. Requires good hiking shoes if its raining. Enough parking available and road access till the visitor center.

The drive to here from the main National Park Visitor Centre climaxes to this point where the parking lot opens out to a wonderful panorama of the Olympic Mountains. WOW! In September, it's still a little frosty in the morning for a hike so wear...More

Visitors center staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Food was regular snacky type, many goodies to buy.

This was our favorite visitors center att he Olympic National Park, even better than the main center at the base of the mountain.

Like most national parks, Olympic has a terrific little intro video and a topo model that gives you a great orientation to the park. You can stand along the sidewalk by the visitor's center and get tremendous views of the mountains, or you can take...More

Beautiful drive up to the visitor center. Had a few places to stop and take pictures. The visitor center is nice and a good place to stop and use the bathroom as well as get information about Olympic national park.

Part of the best of the Visitor Center is outside - the Rangers. The Visitor Center is a modest affair with large windows overlooking the mountains and a small gift store. There is a Ranger's desk where Rangers are available to discuss the area and...More

If it is a clear day get up and drive to the top of Hurricane Ridge. The morning views from the Vistor's Center parking lot are worth the early start. And of course if you enjoy photography the light is great. The other advantage is...More

Too bad with no WiFi. There is no brochure to share to the people for the map. I need to take the photo for the trails. Amble parking spots

I "think" it is b/c I don't remember any switchbacks. But I would call the Visitors Center to make sure.
