I visited Hurricane Ridge in June of 2018 during the evening. To avoid the crowds I suggest to visit after 6 pm. The views were amazing near the visitor center and the views continued to amaze on the different hiking trails right off of the...More

This is a very busy center at the top of the hill. But as busy as it was, it was easy to find parking here. Interesting information about the area, a nice smallish gift store and food service. Numerous hiking options of varying exertion and...More

Went here with locals (Sequim) to see the area. The road up, down are fun but not for the faint of heart (like my wife) not many guardrails. The sights are amazing, deer all over the place, Eagles all over, snow on the paths. No...More

We did the walk up to Hurricane Hill. The first part is pretty flat and then the "fun" begins. Although it was a good workout for us, we felt it was worth the walk to the hill. We saw lots of deer and marmot. The...More

Drive further up from the visitor center for approx one mile to the last parking. We hiked the Hurricane Hill trail from the parking and this was a nice walk with spectacular views. The kids were able to do this hike. I definitely recommend this...More

Go early! The crowds in the afternoon are unbearable. If you go early, you won't be disappointed. I saw many elk and bald eagles. The drive up to the visitor center is incredible. I went in May, when the snow had started melting away... it...More

Well worth the trip and nominal entry fee. Stop at the Visitor Centre, they have great staff there to answer your questions and provide suggestions. Great views in all directions. If you pack a picnic (I recommend you do) for to the first picnic area...More

We went early on a Saturday morning, so we missed the road construction. The drive up was pleasant. The views were amazing. Snow covered peaks for miles. A short walk takes you to another viewpoint where you can see the Strait of Juan de Fuca...More
