Seriously breathtaking!

There were deer crossing the street and the weather was perfect. There wasn't much to do except for the tourist center. No more words needed, just look at the pictures!

We visited in early September on a very cold, very wet and rainy day that was turning to snow. Good visitor center, just wish we had better weather. Weather didn't reallly allow us to take advantage of the views and hiking in the area, still definately worth the effort. The drive up is very nice.

This is a place to take out of town guests! It is majestic at every venue. Plenty of places to drive, walk, and hike. Dogs not allowed so leave them at home. Spectacular views at top and you need to be in fairly good shape for some of fun the hikes. Gift shop and information center near top. Allow for... More

I never tire of going to Hurricane Ridge. I've been going there since I was a kid and now I'm an old lady and I still love it. I always try to take visitors to this great part of the Olympic National Park. On a clear day you can see all the way to Victoria. We always see wild deer... More

We went in August and the wildflowers carpeted parts of the meadow. We were lucky enough to spot 2 fawns nestled in the grass, motionless, waiting for their mom to return. This was less than 100 yards from the parking lot. On a section of wooded trail, we spied a young male deer hiding in dense undercover, his burgeoning horns... More

Great place. Easy road. Nice hiking paths. You can see the enormous Olympic national park, see Canada. Visited it a couple of times. All ways great to be there.

My sister and I drove up on a rainy day and by the time we got to the top its was completely fogged out but we checked out the shop and visitors center and when we finished the fog cleared just enough view of the mountain ranges in the distance.

A great place to visit, even if you just stay close to the visitor's center. The drive to get there is long and windy, but the views can't be beat. I kept wanting to stop at every overlook, but we eventually made it to the visitor's center. Lots of parking available, and we set off on one of the short... More

Fun drive up to the top and I would definitely recommend driving past the visitor center to do the trail for some gorgeous views. We also saw a Marmot, mountain goats, and deer.

We drove up to the visitor center only to find it closed. I believe it must have been because it was after peak season. We didn't mind that. It was only unfortunate that a squall kicked up 10 minutes after we got there, and not only did we not have enough warm clothing, visibility diminished considerably to go hike around... More
