Saw it from the plane, rocky!

Beautiful. Saw it in my way back to sfo. Like the Comfort of not having to experience the cold and just observe the snowy terrains

Not quite sure why some people didn't like this hike. We loved it! It's about 10 miles round trip. Took us 5 hours. The way up took up about 80% of the time. I'm not the fastest hiker. We enjoyed walking the ridge line of the mountain. The hike was pretty moderate. The lake didn't have much water in it... More

This hike is a bit different in that it does not offer panoramic vistas like most of the other RMNP trail provide. However, this trail gives the hiker many sites to enjoy. After breaking off from the main trail to Lawn Lake (a great destination of its own being 1.7 miles longer each way and much higher), you come to... More

The sun peeked over the mountains in Rocky Mountain National Park and back-lit the aspens as they shimmied in the breeze. It was a good day for a hike to Ypsilon Lake. The lake is not on Ypsilon Mountain per se but is so named because of its proximity. It's nominally 9 miles out and back, with 2200 feet of... More

Decided to do this hike to get away from the crowds and with this we succeeded. It was interesting to see the damage caused by the 2013 floods. The hike from the river to the lake is in the forest - not many views. Kinda boring. Lake was nice and the views from there were excellent. Do not thing i... More

I was a wonderful easy going hike. The views were great along the way. It was exhilerating to reach the destination.
