This hike was moderately strenuous. We went in mid July. The vistas are breathtaking. The last couple of miles, the trail becomes very rocky so make sure you have good shoes. A hiking stick helps—You could get them on Amazon or anywhere. We are beginners...More

This would be a good trail for family. More level. Go when the wild flowers are in bloom. This trail still has some recovery needed from what appears to have been a forest fire

We took the Cub Lake Trail to Mill Creek and then back to the trailhead. A great hike, especially for those to venture past the lake. Stunning views, steep rock cliffs (to look at), and nice water features along the way. I believe we did...More

This is a good aclimatizing trail for those just experiencing the elevation change or trying to avoid mid-May snow.

Map said the hike was only 2.6 miles out but we walked for over an hour and never made it to the lake. No specials views and very little wild life

I enjoyed this hike from Moraine campground to Cub Lake. Start early as it does get warm and busy. We did the loop from Cub Lake to the Pool and enjoyed about an hour by the Pool.

Went mid March and lots of snow and packed ice on trail. Quite dangerous at some parts with the slick trails. We had poles and boots but no ice type cleats. Very slick, and we saw people hiking with tennis shoes. One point in trail...More
