Map said the hike was only 2.6 miles out but we walked for over an hour and never made it to the lake. No specials views and very little wild life

I enjoyed this hike from Moraine campground to Cub Lake. Start early as it does get warm and busy. We did the loop from Cub Lake to the Pool and enjoyed about an hour by the Pool.

Went mid March and lots of snow and packed ice on trail. Quite dangerous at some parts with the slick trails. We had poles and boots but no ice type cleats. Very slick, and we saw people hiking with tennis shoes. One point in trail...More

The guidebook said this was a moderately easy hike. I disagree..lol. it was a moderate hike..nothing easy about it, especially the last 1 to 1/2 mile. I found the hike out to the lake to be extremely beautiful and the lake itself to be just...More

It's nice hike but rocky and narrow. Last part to the lake is steep. This trail is not for people with mobility issues. My special needs son had to turn back in the middle because it was too hard. It's much harder than Alberta Falls...More

Beautiful trail for everyone. You can see different views: mountains, river, creeks, valley, and lake.

Okay, it's only non-strenuous if you skip the last half-mile, which is a rocky path on an ascent to the lily-padded lake. But it's a relaxing, easy walk by the marsh for the most part, with rocks and sandy grit forming the path, which has...More

Beautiful start through the meadow and flowing creek with lots of fishing. Gets a little buggy in places, but great aspen collections, wild flowers everywhere, and the lake itself was beautiful. Continued on to fern lake trail up to the falls. Gorgeous but very steep...More
