Sequoia National Park Adventure from Tulare

Living within minutes of Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National parks all my life I have spent most of my life exploring all these parks have to offer. Join me as I take you and or your group on a private tour of the park. We will walk among the largest trees in the world, hike to the top of Moro rock, stop at several beautiful vista points, search for animals as we explore a meadow and much more. I have several things preplanned to make the most out of your day but I am flexible. My tours can be customized to what you want to see from hiking, vehicle tours and popular attractions. With over 12 years of law enforcement experience I take your safety serious. Let me take the worry out of planning your trip. You tell me where you want to go or see and I’ll take you there.

Scenery was spectacular. The people running the operation should not be in customer service. I suggest you try a different stable.

We did the 2-hour ride and started at 3pm. The staff was very friendly and our guide Alex was top notch. She was very informative- pointing out key sights for us to see. Experiencing the Sequoias from this perspective was unbelievable- very peaceful and relaxing. As others have mentioned, the trail does get dusty so having a change of clothes is wise. And of course thanks to our great horses Highway, Blue and Capone - they really did all the work!

My sister and I were the sole riders, guided along an UNDEVELOPED trail through Kings Canyon for an hour on a glorious July morning. My big black quarter horse, Capone, picked his way extremely carefully. For me, it was a truly wonderful ride and a great way to see Kings Canyon up close and to see the Sequoias that were named for states that supported the Union during the Civil War. I would recommend this ride only to someone who realizes what UNDEVELOPED might be.

This horse stable offers guided trail rides. They are located about 1 mile north of the Visitor's Center in Grant Grove, about 3.5 miles from the Big Stump Entrance to the Park. Although they are hard to contact (cell phone service is spotty, they don't have a web site and did not answer a FaceBook Message), it is totally worth it! The 1 hr trail ride was more like 1 hr 15 min and wonderful! We went on an actual trail.. not like some where the horses walk thru a field... this was a trail that had inclines, declines, switchbacks, etc. The horses are well trained and know the route, so it was not a problem. My 7 and 9 year old daughters did just fine (and their only prior experience was the walk in a field type trip). The guide was chatty and friendly and offered some info about the area. A great trip!!!

I went with my boyfriend for a 2 hour ride through the park, the horses are well trained. Both of us have ridden before but you just get on these horses and they know the trails very well without much direction. I really enjoyed the ride and we were able to cover a good bit of ground in the park that would have taken much longer on foot. Very well worth it!
