Just when you think the hike is about done, nope! It is uphill the ENTIRE way up, be prepared with plenty of water! My husband hiked the entire Angels Landing, I only made it halfway. It is single lane hiking once you get to the...More

If you're really into hiking then this is a must-do for you! It was one of the most unique and exciting trails I've been on, and well worth the trip. That being said, when I went on a sunny weekday in April, I could not...More

Saw this hike a couple of years ago on cable tv and was mesmerised. Finally managed to get it off my list. We had Larry from Kanab Tour Company to drive us to Zion as we did not have a car. We started the day...More

Along with Zion Narrows, this is this is one of the great hikes in the USA. Unless, you have a great fear of heights it is quite doable for anybody in fairly good condition. I don't believe the 1,500 feet elevation change includes the up...More

My friend and I arrived at Angel's around 9a on a Sunday morning. Hiking 3/4 of the way up involves many steep switchbacks, but we completed those without any issues. Views along the way and at the 3/4 point are breathtaking! I looked at the...More

This is an amazing him in the park. Try to get there as early as possible to avoid the crowds. Take the shuttle to the Grotto stop. A moderate climb leads up to refrigerator canyon prior to Walter’s Wiggles. At that point you are at...More

Although quite short (a five mile round trip) the trail is demanding and tiring as it snakes its way up the rock face, endless switchbacks, the most difficult of which are at the end, just before chain assistance becomes essential. From that point (about two...More

Did this at the end of April 2018 and I really liked it. The experience is what that separates this hike from others. Was able to do it in 2.5 hrs with early start(7am at the bus stop)

Angel's Landing offers some absolutely phenomenal views of the Zion Canyon, but to be honest that's not the best part of the hike (or at least it wasn't for us). What really sets it apart from any other hike the trail itself, which in the...More

Angels Landing is... simply put... a world class hike in Zion National Park. It has pretty much everything. It's challenging... with beautiful scenery and a huge payoff at the end. The nuts and bolts of doing the hike are fairly simply. Get to the park...More

You could take a stroller up to Scouts Lookout, which is at the top of the canyon, but not to the top of Angel's Landing. It is all paved. It is steep and there are drop offs, but you could theoretically do Scouts Lookout... More
