This hike is amazing and the views can't be matched anywhere else. The hike starts at the Grotto and winds it's way up through the mountains. The entire trail is paved and clearly marked all the way up to Scout's Overlook. You get great views here but I highly advise you to continue on to the chain section up the... More

I am not scared of heights, but this hike had me questioning my sanity from time to time! It's definitely not for everyone. The views are amazing, if you can stomach it, though! The chains located periodically along the trail provide a sense of security, but when the trail is crowded, you face a battle of the wills to see... More

So we attempted the hike in February, there was lots of snow on the trail. Having come from a tropical country, we had no idea about those things called gripons, and therefore did not have any until we attempted the hike. The lower parts are not so bad, but once you reached Walter's Wiggles it was very difficult to get... More

in principle Angel's Landing Is a really nice day hike with wonderful views. But with hundreds of tourists going up the narrow track it is not very pleasant. It's mostly feels like standing in a line... Do not recommend.

My husband and I did this trail last week. It was not at all what I expected. The first 2 miles or so is mostly on paved, or sand walkways. It is steep at points but we took our time. Once you get to where you think you are on top you will see these chains on the rocks and... More

First half of the trail is paved, so I does not prepare you for a real experience. When you reach mountain gap you have impression , that this is the end... but NO!! It is just the beginning. Do not go further in bad weather .. nor with children From that point the trail is really steep and narrow. you... More

Angel's Landing is a must see for all hikers. It can be broken up into top parts, first being a paved and moderate hike, and second being a steep ascent to the top with chains and steep drop offs. The chained part of the hike takes about 45 mins, but if you can stomach the nerve, the view at the... More

This is a really good hike. My young nephews were able to do the first part of it. The second part, to angels landing is very narrow and not good for children or anyone who isn't in good physical condition...amazing views, though.

Amazing, just a great hike. First two miles are uphill and a good workout. Last half mile where the chains are was exhilarating, but not as scary as I thought it may be. I started at 8am on a Friday in the offseason and saw only one other person on the way up. I got to the top and was... More

My husband and I have done a lot of hiking, sight seeing, national parks, etc and this is the #1 hike on our list! It's a nice walk up (can get tiring at times) and then gets so exhilarating once you reach the chains. It wasn't icy when we went and we were lucky that there weren't many people (we... More
