Not for the beginner hiker...but our favorite hike in the valley!! We did this with the kids, it's a great view for those not afraid of heights.

Having done this hike twice, can definitely say this is the best one. Amazing view and a big sense of accomplishment awaits you at the end. Its not that scary or risky.. just dont look down if you are scared of heights :)

This can be a very busy trail and location, but is definitely worth the hike. The first 3/4s is a paved trail that gets quite steep as it switchbacks into a slot canyon. The last quarter uses chains as safety as you walk on sandstone...More

This was the most exciting hike I've ever done! I made it all the way to the top in about 2 hours and took about 45 minutes coming back. The top part with the chains was VERY crowded, but everyone was cooperative and nice in...More

The climb up Angel's Landing was a strenuous hike. I am 63 and took my time butt very doable if you are in decent shape. The last part of Amgel's Landing is a one way chain link climb. It was crowded and took people an...More

Don't even think about doing this hike if you're afraid of heights or out of shape. Otherwise it is a must do. It is 5 star the whole way - not a dull moment. I was glad I got a late start - left around...More

Angel's Landing hike is one of the most dangerous hikes in USA. As many other reviewers have stated before, the last half mile is nerve wracking with 1000 ft dropoffs and narrow paths. But the hike is extremely satisfying with beautiful panoramic view of the...More

I was extremely excited for my visit to this hike/mountain. To get to the hike you need to go through Zion gates which will cost you about $15. The hike is decently difficult and uphill the entire way. The hike is EXTREMELY crowded. Definitely took...More

My husband and I are fit, (runners and endurance exercises.) We will do our hikes with our 7 year old child. Any suggested hikes or advice for keeping her safe, yet enjoying the experience?

Pick hikes that your 7 year old can do and enjoy. Weeping Rock, emerald pools, scouts lookout (but not to Angels Landing...could continue in rim trail). Whatever hikes you do, pace yourself based on your child & always take... More

Is it possible to do Angels Landing and Observation Point in one day? I know it will be hot (Mid July) but I'd love to fit both in.

A.L. is east up to Scouts landing. The .5 mile to A.L. Not only will be busy but slow hiking down. There is a short cut to O. Point, of you drive down N. Fork rd. on the east side of the park, and stop for directions at the... More
