I'm travelling the states and Zion National Park was a suggestion by somebody we me (we had never heard of it before). Being from England and travelling just the West Coast before heading towards Zion I was amazed at the beautiful landscape and scenery. It truly is breathtaking. The scenic drive wasn't as long as I thought it might of... More

Be sure to hike up the walkway to get a good view of the Four Patriarchs!. Also a short distance further provides a nice view of the Virgin River and Zion's rock formations!

Your head will be on a swivel, so plan time to stop and take photos and a hike as well. This is an amazing place and a pretty easy drive from Vegas. Well worth the time! I would recommend spending a night so you can totally soak it in...maybe 3 nights :)

Beautiful colors, layers of rock, gorgeous trees, rivers, and of course, the canyons. All are stunning scenes of nature. Just beautiful.

For an hour, let your eyes take in the majesty of this place. We were there in July and it was HOT. Bring lot's of water, sunscreen and a HAT because there is little shade of you want to get out of your car and snap pictures. I recommend this trip to friends that are staying in Vegas with family.... More

Due to a limited time for visit, we decided to at least drive through Zion National Park. The drive was amazing, with many nice spots to stop for admiring fabulous views and nature. We could see some birds and deer as well. Driving through the tunnel was fun. Definitely recommend and not to be missed.

Driving the Zion Canyon Scenic way from Bryce to Zion or Zion to Bryce takes you about 2 hour but stop and check the beautiful scenery which you surely enjoy.

We did some hiking in Zion, and drove this scenic road which winds its way up one side of the main canyon. The tunnel through the mountain is cool -- if you hike up the Canyon Overlook trail (just outside the east end of the tunnel) you can see the air/ventilation shafts carved into the mountain for the tunnel.

Amazing park! Beautifully maintained by the National Park Service. Many hiking trails are paved. Scenery is incredibly beautiful and diverse. Besides hikers and bikers, we saw climbers repelling a cliff. We can't wait to return and spend more time exploring!
