Less crowded than most trails at Zion with great views, colorful canyons and rock formations. Better way to enjoy the park.

We decided to start hiking up Kolob Canyon from the Visitor Center. Why? -- You might ask. After getting on the Taylor Creek Trail for a while, we were asking ourselves the same. We really wanted to go all the way to the Alcove. The...More

If you're looking for a beautiful trail in Zion that is both beautiful and that doesn't seem so manufactured, and that won't make you repeat, "why in the hell am I doing this?", this is the trail for you. It wends its way along the...More

This was a fantastic hike. We did it in about 3.5 hours. Lots of streams to cross, scenery and historical spots. There are no bathrooms or water spots so be prepared. The arches at the end of the trail was spectacular, so worth the hike....More

The least best hike in the area. Very dark and cold with views of plain canyon walls. Much better options elsewhere in the park.

Very nice hike that ends in this huge cavern they call the double arch. You won't believe the size nor the colors. It's a very special place

One of our favorite places to visit on our trip. Free parking at the lot with a path that leads down to the trail. Crossing the creek multiple times with a chance to sit and relax and enjoy the quiet. Easy hiking doable for most...More

Arrived at Zion's quieter north-western entrance from an overnight in St. George. No waiting to purchase our park pass and make the scenic drive to the end, walk Timber Creek Trail and then Taylor Creek Trail. The color on the cliffs was spectacular, like they...More

This is a very pleasant hike in the Kolob Canyon part of Zion park. There are far fewer visitors than at other parts of Zion, so it won't be crowded. This trail is rated moderate, based on its length (5 miles) and the incline along...More
