Great Trail for an Easy Walk, and Dog-Friendly

This is a nice, flat, easy trail for anyone who has neither the time nor the inclination to do an bonafide hike. It's about 3 miles round trip and it's the one trail where... read more

This is a nice, flat, easy trail for anyone who has neither the time nor the inclination to do an bonafide hike. It's about 3 miles round trip and it's the one trail where leashed dogs are welcome. A couple of bridges make it a little more interesting than just a paved walk. I have done this walk with small... More

The views from this trail are deep in the canyon and are beautiful. The trail runs along a small creek and has wildlife around it, so keep your pets close by if you are walking with them. Towards the end of this trail you can cross over and there are clean restrooms and drinking water. The views from here will... More

A simple leveled, paved trail that we enjoyed with our toddler son. Allowed him to run around a little rather than being in a baby carrier like he was on most other trails. The views are great. You can walk up to the river, and get great views of many of the peaks.

I chose this walk because I had my two dogs with me and it's the only dog friendly trail. It's paved and peaceful. There's a little spot where we stopped and the dogs swam in the water. I wasn't even planning on doing the entire 3.5 miles but it flew by so we did completed it all.

This is a nice paved trail that follows the river from the Visitor's Center, stop 1 on the shuttle, to Canyon Junction, stop 3 on the shuttle. There is a connecting trail at stop 2 so you can visit the museum and see the movie if you wish. A lot of the trail is not in the shade so may... More

Beautiful easy hike along the river with shuttle connections along the route. We found parking near the camp ground.

This is a beautiful trail especially as a warm up hike. This is the only trail that dogs are allowed on. It's not s super long trial and the majority of it is paved but it's along the river and there are places were you can go down to the water.

My wife and I walked this entire trail from Canyon Junction down to the Visitor’s Center at 6:30pm on a Friday night in mid-October 2016. We were almost completely alone and it took us 30 minutes or so in the cooling afternoon. The view was fabulous, the light was wonderful and it was serene and peaceful. We had suffered through... This is the only trail dogs are allowed on in the park. Zion was packed on a Sunday but we found a parking spot near this trail by the nature center. This 3-3.5 mile round trip walk depending on what site you read is a nice, paved, flat trail. It was a beautiful fall day and bright sun and the... More

Great walk between stops 1, 2, and 3. Not a lot of shade so it's very hot. Lots of bike riders on this trail. Nice scenery.
