Road leading to the Waterfalls from Old Street was quiet in early morning. However gets busy later in the day. No separate hiking trail. Sharing road with motor vehicles. Quite narrow at certain parts. About 1.5 km or less than half an hour walk.

The waterfall was not as what we expected. Nothing much to see or play. Only place we enjoyed was the museum as it shows alot of information on the Atayal tribe.

Just around the corner from bustling Taipei, is this little gem. It's a short hike to the Wulai Falls, but you can feel the negative ions (good thing) in the cool crisp air, even in the summer! The sound and the power of the falls is very relaxing and great for relieving a long week's worth of stress. After leaving... More

Stayed for 1 night at the luxurious Volando resort and visited this fall. Instead of "hiking" for 1 hour, we took a 10min taxi ride. Then a cable ride higher. It's ok only and not exactly very awe-inspiring

This is my little trip with my elementary classmate. We take a bus to this place and go hiking to the top of the mountain. I think this place is very proper to walk with your family and friends because the view of waterfall is beautiful and amazing. Moreover, you can eat the local food such as the rice with... More

WIth damage to nfrastructure following last years typhoon season, it is quite a walk up to the falls, but the mountain scenery, the rushing waters in the gorge below and the magnificent falls make the effort worthwhile. Best following rain, you do need to watch for excessive/heavy rainfall in the week before a planned visit.

Great thanks to our driver, mr zhang(+886930304936),without him we won't get to spend an awesome day in wulai waterfall+石碇千岛湖+深坑老街吃臭豆腐. This is HIS private itinerary. As we had only one day left n didn't wanna go too far nor stay in city, so he brought us to 石碇千岛湖, a hidden gem which turned out to be our highlight of this trip.... More

We went by foot and took the cable car to visit Yun-Hsien Park. Nice walk in a romantic scenery along the river with hot springs at the border.

Very cool cable car ride up the mountain... and you can get to soak your feet in the waters at the top of the waterfall. Worth a daytrip out here if you enjoy the green and nature.

If you want to spend the day with family and friends, its a nice place to go and spend the day with nature. Quite a drive from the city. Wear comfortable shoes. Take water, an umbrella, hat and a fan.
