Campsites have electricity and water but no sewer or Wiifi hookups. Many trails to both the bay and gulfside beaches. Beaches seem to go on for miles and miles and they were almost empty, despite beautiful weather. Fort Pickens is only a short walk or drive from the campsites and is very interesting.

My favorite beach in Florida so far! Beautiful white sand and no crowds. Great for collecting seashells too.

This is an idyllic stretch of untouched sugar white sand dunes, beaches, and views of both the Gulf of Mexico and Santa Rosa Bay. There are covered picnic sites and rest room facilities spaced periodically along the stretch of road which runs the entire length of the park. Even if you don't want to spend time on the beach or... The area is unbelievable it is so beautiful to look at. There is almost anything you can do as far as water sports. To bad developer's are allowed to ruin the area.

Amazing, peaceful, and relaxing. Secluded! I left my beach at my condo and took the 5 minute drive to spend the day at the Gulf Islands National Seashore beach. I believe I paid $15 for the full week to come and go as I pleased, which also included Fort Pickens Museum.

This is the way I remember the Outer Banks when I was a kid. Peaceful, beautiful and unspoiled. Very relaxing.

This park is on a strip of island in the Gulf. It consists of a road running between Gulf beaches and Sound beaches on the back side of the island. There are rather sparse-looking sand dunes along the road that bisects the park and island. There is not much to do except drive the road or park and visit the... More

No trip to Pensacola is complete unless you at least spend some time at the National Seashore. Plenty of places with bathrooms and shelters and walkways to the beach - - very beautiful. Spend any amount of time - - hour to a full day

I was here in the winter with 3 girlfriends. We did not go out to the beach because of the windiness. We drove all along the road, because we went to Ft Pickens, then drove on the east section of the road on the way home (Tallahassee). I don't know how crowded it is in the summer, but there is...
