We snuck out to the beach early in the morning and it was well worth it! Aside from the 4 people in our family, there were only 2 other people within eyesight. The beach was nice and clean with plenty of shells to grab up and take home. Overall a great beach to visit with great parking and ample restrooms.

Clean beach, walked for miles. Jelly fish a problem. Plenty of restaurants and bars to stop at along the way.

Went with my family and we were so scared of the jellfish we never really got in the water. It was beautiful though. Seeing the sun come up was great.

A quick overnight--beautiful white beach, clean sand, rolling surf--all good for the soul. Found some delicate see treasures in the morning's shells ashore. A quiet getaway treasure in winter.

I have visited Pensacola beach several times in the past, and currently am wintering here... There are things to do year round, you have the beautiful beaches, the pier, Fort Pickens, hundreds of spots where you can get off on your own, and fish, shell, birdwatch or just hang out at the beach.. Also great for paddle boards, kayaking, kitesurfing..... More

We love Pensacola Beach. The water varies from blue to emerald green. They have the whitest sand we have ever seen and the texture is like walking in powdered sugar.

Overall, the beach and sand are white and the water was mild. No seaweed there when we visited. The sand was even whiter in Destin, and there was more to do there, but Pensacola was a little quieter than Destin, and less crowded.
