Decided to try the Watermill again. Great to see the steaks are still as excellent as ever . ( make sure you try steak on the stone ) . Starters where wings to share . Very tasty and good portion sides. Chris is a very attentive and pleasant manager and runs a good team. Unfortunately I only got the one... More

Nice little local spot for dinner. It's casual enough and after dinner u can drop downstairs for a drink. The steak on the stone is delish and the staff are friendly! The mid week deal are great. Portion sizes are big enough.

We visit a couple of times a year. The staff are fantastic and the food and service are worth the drive. Steak on a stone is amazing, the desert was beautiful. A little gem of a restaurant, and a must visit.

Had a quick after dinner drink here at the weekend. It's a bit dreary inside and it smells a bit smoky as people tend to smoke near the front door. There was one really efficient bar man but the other staff spent most of their time just chatting. But the drinks were reasonably priced and there was a decent atmosphere.

Myself and a party of 10 had starters and mains as part of a surprise birthday meal for €19. The staff were so friendly and helpful and great with the kids, gave them colouring books to keep them quite through out. The menu was the best I have seen in awhile. I had loaded potato skins to start and for... More

Strongly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience steak on the stone for the first time. It is very relaxed, excellent customer service particularly our waitress, Sophie who explained exactly what to do. The food is so good and comes with a great selection of sides,. We will be back again and again

We went on a Sunday and advise going earlier, around 1pm, as it got very busy later. 2 of us had the roast dinner, beef, which went down very well. I had the steak served on lava stone and it was really nice and high quality. The service was attentive and helpful.

Went for an early bird on a Saturday night. We both had steak. I had steak on the stone, which was good with three different sauces. It came with mushrooms and onions, which were dry and looked like they had been cooked a long time. However the steak was ok. I've had steak on the stone before and it was... More

Absolutely love the steak on the stone here . Early bird menu is excellent value. Staff could be a little more attentive. But food is excellent .
