There is a park run, every Saturday . 5 km , it’s free , all ages, a family event, and doggie friendly. A nice cafe there, to go to after the run, and a pub/restaurant

Very pleasant and well managed park with a beautiful boating lake. Many fitness stages around the park. There is also a good coffee shop and an okay place to eat.

I have never seen anyone playing with there own control boats. There are a lot of weeds along the banks although when I was there a few weeks ago it looked like the park keepers were doing a cleaning up job of the bank.
