Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Former factory is rebuilt to a library and special information center for Ljubljanica River, its special role in Slovenia and Carstic caves and lakes. They added huge archeological collection from City museum of Ljubljana. All the findings are from Ljubljanica River or connected with Ljubljanica. Just now, in November 2016, you can find there the oldest wooden wheel of a simple cart. Presentation is very educative and modern, with models, maps, descriptions and subtitles in Slovene and English. You have parking at the main entrance of the library and Vrhnika is just 15 minutes’ drive from Ljubljana. You can also go to the sources of Ljubljanica, called Močilnik and to Bistra Technical museum to look at the collection of Tito’s limousines. Locals usually visit Cankar’s Memorial House. It is less interesting.

It’s small museum and with few improvements it could be very good. A lot of findings from river Ljubljanica dated from Roman empire period, which are nicely displayed, however I was missing descriptions of the findings. Perhaps they were on touch screen but it didn’t work during our visit. There is also a nice presentation on river Ljubljanica (also know as the river of seven names), one of the most fruitful rivers for archeological findings. Admission fee is 5€ for adult and 2,5€ for children. They also have family ticket which cost 10€.
