As I visited during the low peak season, getting there was challenging, as there wasn’t any direct public bus. I ended up taking 2 public buses plus a short private car ride to the top entrance. Entrance fee is 95rmb. I spent about 3 hours leisurely walking downhill to the bottom exit. By the way, both top and bottom serves... More

If you've come to luoping for the rapeseed fields, definitely make a stop at these stunning waterfalls. Get dropped off at the top of the waterfall if you take a taxi for an easier walk down rather than the main drop off. The bamboo raft ride is fun get you up close to the waterfall.

After arriving at the bottom, we crossed the bridge to the far side and followed the trail to the top from there. The multiple waferfalls on this river are VERY picturesque and you'll spend as much time taking pictures as you did walking to get there. It's about 1 kilometer in distance but a few hundred feet in elevation gain... More

You can see nine waterfalls in the same area. It is next to each others. The best time to see is from February to March when the water is full and Canola blooming season. The view point is good for wide bird eyes views.

We visit late in April, almost no visitors, and the views are very good. Their are two parking place and if you went to enjoy all the points you should park at the lower (main) parking and take a taxi to the upper parking. It take only 10Y and worth it so you will have one way downhill

If you want to go to Luoping from Qujing it will take you over 3 hours by bus. Make sure that the local bus you're taking from Luoping bus station is going straight to Jiulong waterfalls. I asked twice two diffrent persons, they reassure me that I chose the right minibus, despite this I ended up in some village, 20... More

A 10-tier waterfalls cascade on the 2-kilometer long section of the Juilong River 20 km northeast of Luoping. This Nine-Dragon Waterfalls are compactly grouped in a valley 4 km long and 200 km deep and its terrace-like formation of varying heights and width is the outcome of thousands of years' of scouring and sedimentation. Indeed another memorable sight of Luoping!

Jiulong Waterfalls in Luoping. From Kunming East Bus Station, there are regular public buses to Luoping. Basic accommodation are available near the Luoping Bus Station. The best time to visit Luoping is in early March when the rapeseed fields are in full bloom. Besides the Jiulong Waterfall, other nearby attractions are the Duoyi River Park and the Lubuge mini 3-Gorges... More

I recommend you to visit these waterfalls. They are quite nice and nature all around is simply beautiful. There were only a few tourists, that was really suprising for me in a positive way. It is easy to get there from Luoping, just go to the bus station and show someone picture or name of the waterfalls. One way by... More
