    Lovely farm
What a brilliant find. We’ve been to lots of petting zoos and this really is one of the best. Lots of opportunities to interact with lambs, chicks, rabbits, Guinea pigs and kittens. Also it was possibly to feed sheep, goats, donkeys, alpacas and Larry the llama who was very friendly and very active. The farmer and his staff did lots of demonstrations of sheep and cow milking and feeding. There were also chickens, turkeys and of course pigs. Really great value and well worth a visit. Check the website for opening times as it does vary. The farm does not have a cafe but there is a picnic area which is free to use.

Lovely farm , wonder animal experience. cheap too
Wonderful farm, very hands on experience for everyone. Can hold and feed baby lambs, watch Sheep shearing, milking. Feed all animals, groom pony, hold chicks. My children even played fetch with the gorgeous farm dog! My children and I love this farm, it’s only small but really well priced and well worth a visit, it’s about £4 a ticket for kiddies

Amazing working farm. This was our second visit today. We travelled an hour to get here and it is so worth it. Great value. My two held chicks, kittens; stroked the horses, fed the baby lambs. The kids absolutely loved it. Would totally recommend to everyone!

We first visited some years ago and really enjoyed it. Fast forward with a grandson to entertain for the day ,we decided to go again. It's much bigger but still hands on and super friendly. We experienced baby goats wandering around. Guinea pigs to hold. Kittens. Lambs. Sheep shearing. Milking . Bottle fed lambs. Held chick's. Beautiful woodland walk. We loved it!

Get back to the simple joys of a family day out by visiting Boydells - no gimmicks, no soft play, no in-your-face merchandising. We loved our morning at the farm meeting all the animals and getting opportunities to hold chicks, pet the goats, guinea pigs, rabbits and groom a pony. Seeing Mootilda being milked was a highlight - the farmer is so entertaining and informative. Very good value for money, both for tickets and in the small gift shop. We will be back soon!

Very good place to visit. A real working farm that also provides a lot of fun. Some of the animals were very entertaining, there are enough animals for everyone to be able to be with something even if it’s busy. Our children milked a cow, bottle fed a lamb, held chicks, kittens & Guinea pigs. The farmer is so much fun to be around & very informative. You can learn so much from him & it was great to hear about what happens on a farm, and about where your dairy products and meat come from. Lots of room for everyone & my family were very happy. Even though it’s the summer holidays we never felt crowded at all. Also there are a lot of places to wash your hands all properly equipped.

We love it at this farm, we had children aged 7 - 15 years and they all really enjoyed it.
They held, goats, kittens, chicks and lambs. The farm is so hands on and it makes the visit well worth it.
All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We love farmer Kiley, he is so enthusiastic and tells a few rum jokes!! I appreciated them! 🤣
We especially loved the kittens today 😍.
