We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great service that helps the communities and a fantastic way to get out to Blackness Castle, the coach is clean, the driver is friendly and it way better than taking a taxi or an Uber. It was $21 pounds return for 2 adults + 1 child and picked up on Edinburgh on Princess street - you can find it on Google Maps

They are in the process of opening a coffee shop near the bus stop for Blackness Castle - it should be a nice addition.

The bus didn’t run on Sunday in April of 2019, but the driver mentioned they want to expand service.

Absolutely a fantastic Service,
My journey was from Edinburgh to Bo’ness at 10.30 and then the returned bus at 14.30, back to Edinburgh,
I can not fault this service bus was bang on time, very clean mini bus , extremely cheap price £8 return, can not fault that price,
Drivers very friendly, was also lovely to here how something like a community bus runs and the information how it was set up from the driver completely made my journey 🥰

I would definitely use your services again,

I didn't know about the backstory of the Bo'ness Community Bus before I rode on it but I think it's amazing what caring people can do for their local area when they see a need that isn't being met because the 'big guys' see no profit in it. The service was fast, clean, and reasonably priced; it also came with a great conversation with the driver as I was the only passenger for a large stretch of the journey from Blackness to Linlithgow. It saved me a cab ride and gave me good feeling to support a project that supports its community. It doesn't run as frequently as a city bus but it gets the job done.

I use the Bo'ness Community Bus at least once a week, sometimes two or three times. I have been using this service since it first started out, when it replaced the old X19 service.

I have always known it to be a highly reliable service. The drivers are all pleasant and friendly, plus accommodating too.

despite it being run as a public bus its very much not if you want picked up from a bus its time tabled to stop at you have to book pointless complaining it just gets the whatever treatment and excuses the mini buses are not wheel chair or buggy friendly and if you struggle with mobility forget it

Hello Danny We are a public service and run very much to our timetable, in fact we are renowned for our reliability. In your case the bus did stop at place and time stated on the Timetable. (This is recorded on Ticketer). While booking is not a requirement for using our service, one of the reasons we recommend booking is that some of our passengers may have difficulties drawing the driver’s attention when at the stop and the driver can be made aware of this and look out for them. We recognise that our vehicles are not equipped for Wheelchair access this is something we intend to rectify with the procurement of our next vehicle. We do however make every attempt to accommodate disabled passengers and regularly carry passengers with folding wheelchairs and buggies. In addition we carry many passengers with disabled concession cards some with carers who advise us when they intend travelling. We are sorry you had a bad experience and if you contact us, we will ensure that this is rectified on any future travel. Rab Jeffery (Secretary)

I would be lost without the C19, it gets me to work Mon to Fri. It is reliable and on time, you know you can trust this bus to deliver. A lovely clean bus and very helpful drivers.

Reliable, regular and essential service to and from Bo'ness and Edinburgh, needed as other operators have dropped what they consider less profitable routes.

Great for days out to the big city or now, with early morning work runs, proving to be a life-saver for many who would have been isolated or forced to use their cars when other providers dropped out.

A local service, run by local people, part of the community and making a difference.

They took the bus from Boness bus station to Princes Street so they could experience the festival. Their driver was super friendly and helpful going out of his way to provide cheerful & helpful advice. As the bus went via Blackness Mum felt that it was a lovely scenic trip and she saw far more than she wouldve if they'd driven. It also helped that there was a super offer on with children travelling free with fare paying adults/concessions. They are excited for their next trip!

another great trip on the Bo'ness Community Bus today. Such a friendly service and right on time. It’s an asset to the town and the drivers are always really courteous. I travelled with my son, daughter in law and grandchildren. Children go free with an adult during the summer school holidays.....great idea, especially during the Edinburgh Festival
