This is such a fun yet relaxing place to visit and especially if you have young children. There is a large children's activity play area, also exercise equipment for adults. A huge park to play, have a picnic or even simply walk around. A Nature park area, snacks and refreshments available and a super pond with wildlife to explore. Alternate... More

Plenty of space to run, walk or relax in. A large park for the kids, a skate park for them to show skills. Lovely outdoor space.

Went to Rushcliffe Country Park last week for the first time and it will not be the last any time we are in the Nottingham area for a few hours. Its a great big clean well set out area with things to do and see for all. Wildlife and walking spots suited us fine. Car parking is ok as well.... More

This is a huge and beautiful country space with plenty of parking, always busy with families when we've visited at weekends. There are plenty of activities for children of different ages; our grandsons aged two and six played happily in adjacent playgrounds to suit their size and abilities, and the older boy loved riding his bike round the BMX track.... Nice place to go for a short wander in an afternoon, however it can get pretty busy at weekends and finding parking can be a challenge

Wonderful park with things to do for everyone! I was very pleasantly surprised as there is not a lot of info online or photos about this park but I highly recommend it! Lots to do including a sensory garden for children, lots of open space, a lake which is nice to walk around and there are little sculpture type stop... More

Nice place but easy to drive past if you don't know it's there. Good parking facilities although can get very busy on a nice day. Lots to see and do especially for younger children with play park, nature trails, etc. Good facilities with a visitor centre and places to get food snacks, drinks. Tends to be more crowded around the... More

Having not been to Rushcliffe for many years and I was pleasantly surprised, I took my little dog along and really liked the set areas for dogs, areas they wasn't allowed, areas they had to stay on a lead and other areas where you can let them off a lead as long as you can control your dog, there were... Visited ruddington park on many occasions. It's a great place for all the family, plenty for the kids to do, adults can enjoy a walk and even dogs have they're own agility place to have a try at!

The title really says it all. We went there with our young dog. The park is very dog friendly. There are miles of paths which are all well surfaced.
