The narrow gauge railway from kalka to shimla is an experience in itself, almost the midway is the barog station which has the longest tunnel and is a 1 km long.

Near the Grave of of Barog, there are only Railway Retiring Rooms. Bookings can be done online but I do not recommend these rooms because of poor maintenance, food and facilities. There is nothing to do here. Better options... More
