266 reviews
Drive your own inflatable Reef Rider boat to explore the West Coast of Antigua. This 10-foot (3-meter) boat is compact enough to access the smallest and shallowest lagoons, teeming with marine life. Slip on the provided mask, fins, and snorkel to dive in and see the wrasse, stingrays, lobster, and parrotfish that inhabit the reef. A guide accompanies your group the whole time to ensure your safety and comfort.

Perfect sunsets that fall to the coastline. Powder white sandy beaches. Really like this place. I don’t know if it is because of COVID but very few people where here even near Sandals. Which I like. You can walk the beach without being harassed.

Beach full of seaweed. Not cleaned up even in front of mega-Sandals resort. All beach bars closed due to Covid and no cruise ship traffic. Obnoxious locals cursing and smoking weed. Avoid!

This is one of the biggest beaches we found in Antigua, no wonder Sandles is located here! There’s unlimited amounts of action available out on the water from here... jet skis, paddle boarding, boat trips, even a swim out bar. There’s enough sand to get a good game of beach cricket going too!

Dickenson Bay Whilst on holiday, each day we like to go for a walk We love the beach, where we can chill out and talk Dickenson Bay is a great place to stretch your legs And a healthy walk gets you ready for that breakfast of bacon and eggs We stayed at sandals and we’d go left out of the hotel, and past the British phone box Admire the tiki tiki bar that floats in the sea, then walk to the rocks Turning around, there’s horses in the field up to your right With Pelicans dive bombing the sea, such a beautiful sight When we get back to sandals, and the beach flattens out It’s, on your marks, get set, go, that’s what I shout A gentle jog then begins and we run to the restaurant that sits in the sea Turning around and jogging back, the wife struggles to keep up with me Look out for our new friend, who we met, whilst out on our jog She joined us for our run, that’s Itzel the beach dog There’s a little jetty outside the hotel that’s surrounded by rocks Early in the morning it’s a meeting place for crabs where they all seem to flock With sand so soft, and sea thats turquoise blue There are plenty of things ,here that you can do Jet skies, a massage or even renting a speedboat Or just take your inflatable into the sea, chill out, and just float Not sure if the dog has it’s own name but called her Itzel as it means Rainbow in Antigua . The beach is very quiet at the moment in these covid times with not many restaurants open . It is a lovely beach though, well worth a visit. Quite a lot of beach vendors at the moment as not many beaches are open in Antigua . They’re very friendly and will sell you anything you want, but they will also take no for an answer so don’t be put off by them .
