We wandered the shops for a fair time. Lots to see at a slow pace. Remember you can haggle with the price at most locations, as some of the items (esp. clothing) are a rip off.

Several sections of shopping areas here. I shopped Redcliffe Quay first, with my husband, then he left to go back to the cruise ship. We had been to a beach earlier, and he was done! I ate a light bite at Fred's Waffle and Ice Cream place, then wandered over to another area of market stalls. It can be a... More

Great place to satisfy your shopping needs. Friendly shops and not too far to walk from the cruise ships for people with mobility needs. Stocked up on the normal tourist items like T shirts and some of our favourite Antigua rum - Cavalier 151 proof.

Took a ride into the downtown/shopping area of St. John's on our last day (a friday). When we arrived it was a ghost town, the previous day we were in the area picking up people from cruise ships for an excursion and it was packed! The Heritage Quay is a mall just like any other mall and wasn't what I... More

We rode into town from Sandals to go to the Craft Market. It was $12 each way for 2 people via Taxi. 10-15 minute ride from Sandals. We allotted 3 hours for this trip, but ended up calling the taxi back in an hour and a half. There are lots of Duty Free shops right by the cruise ships and... More

As a shopaholic, I was very keen to go to this duty free shopping area and check out the clothes and jewellery stores, as well as the surrounding area. I wish I hadn't bothered. It reminded me of a very small outlet mall in Wakefield, but with less stuff I wanted to buy. The stores are overpriced and the sales... More

I won't say it was awful, it really wasn't... but it is the same thing that you see in the cruise ship area of anyplace in the Caribbean that you stop to shop. I will say that we looked a bit, and the one place I wandered a little that did interest me was full of tourists, and salespeople who... More

Ok so I've been to Heritage Quay shopping many many many times with an assortment of friends, this time was with my 18 year old daughter. She loves going into the swimwear shops & looking at make up which can be a bit draining to tell you the truth🙄However, all things considered St John's is a vibrant colourful city, filled... More

Unlike other similar sites, this one is actually open to the local public, although I don't think that many want to pay the "tourist" prices. But it certainly is convenient, and has the major shops that many passengers want to see -- Columbian Emeralds, Diamonds/Tanzanite International and the like. It is an outdoor mall. Many of the souvenir shops seem... More

This is touted as the main shopping area of the Island. Its the Cruise Ship Port so of course when the ships are in port it is a very bustling area.Plenty of stores, jewelry, clothing boutiques, etc. Some are a little pricey and others are in line. If you want to shop, then hit this area when the ships are... More
