There are probably 100 vendors but they all have the same stuff to sell. I wouldn't even bother going in to the middle of the vendors. I would just go to the outside ones and look around and buy from them and get out. People say that you can try and barter with them but our experience was that they... More

if you are, like we were, on a cruise, you will be almost a the Redcliffe Quay. Yes, there are the usual souvenirs but also a lot of locally made craft and even some clothing, namely shirts and tops. Very colorful also at an attractive price. Not much haggling here, the merchants know that we have money but the prices... More

Helpful people in shops and cafes catering for the cruise ships with everything priced accordingly! Best bit is watching the traffic chaos with hordes of touting taxis. Nice flea market just round the corner

We had a lovely walk around these local shops. Many options to buy local touristy tat. We just didn't have the space in our suitcases to buy what we would've liked to. Friendly shop keepers, but we had to watch out for the incorrect money change coming back to us (short changed).

Many small shops with local goods, designer outlets and local authentic West Indian designers. Interesting shops suitable for all age shopping. While away time in one of the bars or restuarants to eat or just people watch. This is a vibrant area in St John's close to the cruise ship docks.

This area includes restaurants used by both tourists and locals. My favouriteshop is Noreen Phillips who really is a coutourier of some style.

Loved the old buildings of the shopping area but it was a traditional shopping arcade. You need to walk a little to the the full range of tourist shops but it is all very relaxed and really interesting facades.

A nice place to wonder around a original Caribbean quay. We used to use a lovely restaurant at this location when we used to holiday in Antigua many years ago, sadly the restaurant was no longer there, but they have developed the quay without losing the charm that we remember. Lots of little shops and to our surprise the little... More

This place is a zoo once the cruise ships show up. If you like bumper to bumper people this is your place. I would suggest getting a few people together and renting a taxi van. All I ever seen was taxi vans. I would think the taxi's are expensive and have read they are, but I think this is because... More

My husband and I recently returned from Antigua, and we spent a couple of days at Redcliffe Quay. We enjoyed our first visit, but we needed to return to pick up a dress at Noreen Phillips and he spent the morning at Goldsmithys making a piece of jewelry from Antiquite, an experience of a lifetime for both of us. Of... More
