Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a must-visit experience for everyone. Children will be fascinated with the animals. Adults will have an opportunity to reconnect with some of the animals and plants they have not seen for a long time. The trail is fantastic. The guide is effective.

Kids love to get up close and personal with the animals. Tons of animals from horses, cows goats and turtles! Kids loved tho hold the turtles....and the pigs got a fun shower when we got to play with the hoses.

After reading reviews this nature reserve sounded good (although no reviews since last year) but on arrival at first there seem to be no one around. We parked up & found someone & paid 25 east carribean dollars each, wish we hadn't of bothered, we were the only visitors & pretty much left to it, the animals were in such small cages with no water, the pigs had white foam on the mouths & no room to move but there was no one around to tell. Don't bother not a nice experience.

The question is how should this park be improved - shut it down
We went and it was heart breaking , one of the worst things I have ever seen, the enclosures couldn’t of been any smaller , the rabbits couldn’t even move in the cells , the huts looked like a row in a prison, the monkeys , well it was heartbreaking, they hardly moved , they was no noise coming from there enclosure, no playing nothing , they all just sat in the corner of the enclosure looking depressed and desperate to get out , the bird cages had one stick in them , no green shrubbery , no bird baths to cool down , terrible , one of them only had one lonely parrot in it and it was so tucked into a corner it was heartbreaking , the trail is a rugged walk , not a safe path especially for an elderly person to walk on , the water bottles in the animals cages were old, dirty and empty, no food or water in the tortoise enclosure, all in all this place was terrible and absolutely heart breaking especially for people who love and care for all wildlife and animals

My experience was awesome. Dave and his team does an excellent job in taking care of the animals and it's surroundings. It was truly a nature experience. It an awesome place for private events and private tours. Lovely place, a hidden GEM.

Not a long visit but you get a good feeling for what is intended. The Animal care is to be commended

One of the few places of interest on the Island that should be be visited while you have the time.. it is the beginning of a new experience in Nature care from people who matters.

I have had the opportunity to visit the Wadadli Animal Nature Park on serveral occasions and every time is a new learning experience. The walk brings out the nature lover, animal lover and the history lover in me in all one go! So if you want a change of pace or just want to become one with nature again, then the Wadadli Animal Nature Park is the place to be! Oh yes look out for tombstones dating back to the early eighteenth century....HISTORY!

I read the reviews on here and, as they were mostly good, decided to give it a go. Firstly, whilst one reviewer said they were charged 25 EC dollars, we were charged 25 US dollars per adult and 15 US for a child - am not sure if this is new pricing or whether they were just trying it on. Anyway, we stupidly decided to still do it.
The animals are generally kept in very small cages (with far too many animals in each for it to be comfortable). There is nothing for them to do in them - no climbing branches for monkeys etc.
Would never recommend it to anyone. Not worth US$2.5, let alone $25!!

It was very very nice trip, however we did not sail. They used the engine all the time.
Food was great.
Snorkeling was a waste of time. But the trip over all was nice.
