Very stressful shopping experience. Same stuff at every stall with people calling out every 2 minutes. I like to just browse but it is not possible. Everyone is just working to support their family, I get it....but just let us look in peace. Some were...More

We had wandered around the town for a couple of hours and we like to investigate places, particularly small shopping areas etc, but on entering this place it just had a poor feel to it. The stall holders and vendors were a bit too pushy...More

We went shopping here and we found the people pushy and aggressive. We are used to flea markets and some pushiness, but this was quite bad. It made it a bad experience and we didn't buy anything.

Very crowded, cramped and dirty. Every vendor sells the same items at the same price. Locals are not friendly at all. Better off buying items in the little stores.

Tarp thrown over gravel. Got my friends wheelchair stuck as a result. Apparently there is work being done on the main location. Some fun items mostly crap. If I politely declined looking at items I didnt want I was told I was rude.

Try not to visit when the cruise ships are docked, too many people too crowded. Typical products, too many vendors selling the same product, trying to get you to buy. Overcrowded with locals trying to convince you to take tours, taxi's etc....I spend the whole...More

'Downtown' St John's is not a particularly attractive or exciting place to be, especially as it is dominated by cruise ships and the sometimes hundreds, if not thousands, of passengers than can traipse off them. But everyone probably wants to spend some time shopping, so...More

If you are staying on Antigua and feel you really must come and have a look around, don't do it when a cruise ship is in dock! We arrived to find two huge ships had just arrived, and once we had fought our way through...More

Vendors Mall is ridicules on prices and local attitudes. We were able to find regular stores and restaurants within 3-4 blocks, that were about a third of the price for the same items.
