There are not many places you can get to without a car in Antigua, so it was a pleasant day when we could walk from our hotel in English Harbour up a steep hill and down onto the beach at Pigeon Point. Its 1km from Admirals Hotel and about a 10 minute walk. Th beach is lovely, the water clear with some shaded spots and designated bbq/ picnic areas as well. Plenty of parking for people who drive. There are 2 restaurants - one other end of the beach... trendy "Catherines" high end , poseurs paradise with a band on a Saturday day time which really kicks off or a simple beach bar selling cocktails and jerk chicken, two very different options. You should not miss Pigeon Beach if you are visiting English Harbour.

Sand, sun, surf, shade, parking and food... everything you may need at a beach can be found here! It’s the closest beach to Falmouth Harbour and it’s absolutely beautiful. At one end you have Catherine’s Cafe which is one of the best eats on the island, and at the other you have Falmouth Harbour. If you get the right spot, you’ll get the rays and then the most beautiful sunsets. We loved it here and must’ve visited at least 3-4 times on our trip.

We popped to Pigeon point following a recommendation. Lovely beach, quite busy ( we went in the afternoon). Popular high end restaurant one end and cute bar the other. We chose to have some reasonably priced drinks while watching the sun set . Fabulous afternoon.
