A truly excellent old house, and very accessible. Most places like this have the rooms roped off so you can just peer in from the halls, but this house is small enough that it's... read more

A beautifully kept small museum which is a great example of an early house, originally built as a Sea Captains house, then right by the sea, but now set back from the shore slightly. Now owned by the Bermudan National Trust, they kindly honoured our UK National Trust membership cards, a reciprocal arrangement, so just ask! A very pleasant volunteer... More

We thoroghly enjoyed our tour of the Tucker House in St Georges. Go on a Satruday so you can have Ajai Peets lead the tour. Her knowledge of the house was impressive and her enthusiasm was infectious. This young woman will go on to make Bermuda proud. It was also a great pleasure meeting Peter Frith in his full, period... Excellent docent who shared with us much of the history of this place. Beautiful cedar wood furniture -- sweet sweet three sided crib with very old christening gown on display. Be sure to go to the basement -- some excellent info and artifacts there.

A truly excellent old house, and very accessible. Most places like this have the rooms roped off so you can just peer in from the halls, but this house is small enough that it's not possible so you can go right up to stuff and look. There seems to be no way to prevent people from touching stuff but that... More

Wonderful woman was great to talk to and hear the history of the house and Bermuda. Going out to the court yard and into the under side of the hose was great also

This home tells a lot about the life and times of people in the early days of St. Georges. Loved looking at the period furniture and housewares.

When I visited, there was a young man on the door who took my admission fee ($5). He told me that there were folders in the rooms to read if I wanted information, handed me a leaflet, and told me which direction to head in. You're not allowed to take photos inside, which is annoying for me, as I'm a... More

We bought the pass to see all three of the historical buildings... and went to all of them... well worth it. This was our first building of the three to visit, and the short film was neat. We would actually take the tour again, when we return here. The gift shop had some neat stuff to buy.

We saw loads of tourists walk by this attraction in Water Street - perhaps it needs more promotion. Anyway, the collection of furniture, antique but not all originally from this house, is well worth your time, and the house is a fine example of how the better-off Bermudians lived in the days of yore. Our knowledgeable guide from the Bermuda... More

We love history and found ourselves totally enthralled by the tour guide who set the scene and told us about the family and connections to historical figures in the USA. Out of everything we did on our trip, I rate this as one of the highest.
