After walking around Hamilton, step inside the Cathedral for a time of solitude. Hopefully, the sun will be shining through the stained glass windows.

Hamilton seems to be short on touristy sights (but long on shopping), but the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity is beautiful. The tower is especially interesting and offers the best overall view in Hamilton. It is accessed by a tight and steep climb via...More

This takes no more than five minutes to see. It is far less ornate than most cathedrals. We were on our way to Fort Hamilton and enjoyed stopping by.

This is one of the most beautiful cathedrals I have ever seen and I love going in to pray. The architecture is breathtaking.

You can get a guided tour, or just walk through. Massive. Impressive stained glass windows. Lots of history - take your time to walk around.

This is a beautiful old church on the hill in town. Full access to walk in even on a Monday. Nice benches around the outside grounds that some locals used to enjoy a lunch break. Very clean and nice to see such care taken over...More

This imposing cathedral dominates the skyline, and for a fee you can get a sweeping view of the harbor/city from the tower (I didn't). The grounds caught my interest with a large bell and small ships atop lampposts.
