We recently climbed the Gibb's Hill Lighthouse and the view from the top is spectacular. It's 185 steps to the top but there are several landings on the way up with interesting pictures and facts posted. Take the #7 bus and get off at the...More

We stopped at the lighthouse as part of a complete island tour. Nice to see an original cast iron lighthouse that hasn't been stripped of its original parts. The views were great! It is a little claustrophobic at the top so if that effects you...More

The lighthouse is a perfect place to get an overview of the Island. You can see Kings Wharf and Hamilton and beyond. It is amazing! Be aware that you have to climb a lot of stairs and that it is really tight at some points....More

Climbed the stair in the heat of the day. Wow what a work out as the coiled staircase needs to accommodate folks going in both directions on small stairs. Once at the top the views are stunning and ready for your camera.

Omg the views from the top are amazing!!! What a great way to see this beautiful island!! Only 2.50 and it's really not a bad climb. The stairs are narrow of course. Try not to get dizzy lol

This is one of the best views of the island you can get. It's climb up steep steps, but from the top you can see everything. Nice history on the walls along the way.

You can see every bit of the Island and it's only 185 steps to the top. Cheap to get in too. We went early to beat the tour buses. There is limited room at the top.

On our Island tour we stopped at this iconic sight. Those who could climb to the top in 15 mins were allowed to do so. The view at the lighthouse is in my opinion one of the best. Exploring the simple grounds of this lighthouse...More

Any bus 7 or 8. It is equidistant from middle road and south beach road. I suggest south road as Henry 8ths pub is at end of road for refreshments or food.

Hi! Very few! We went on a humid, rainy day and the trek up was a little worse then it would have been if nice weather. I believe they have on-site restrooms however. Hope this helps.
