Private and secluded like being on your own beach. There are bathrooms and forts to explore and shade under the trees if you wish to escape the sun.

If you want to go here you have to watch the tides. There is no beach at high tide. Quiet place to swim, sunbathe, and relax

West Whale Bay Beach is a nice quiet & small beach - most of the time. During holidays it may be a bit more traffic, but you still can have a great time. It's a great place to watch sunsets!

A little hard to find, no facilities but a gem of a beach next to Port Royal golf course. Did see a barracuda while snorkeling there so take your shinny stuff off as you should always do in the ocean silly!

This beach is not Waikiki or Copacabana. It is quite small and at high tide can be somewhat narrow and some parts may disappear altogether. On weekdays it is generally fairly empty of people and frequently offers private swimming opportunities. Swimming conditions are usually very pleasant and at beach level the scenery is beautiful and very photogenic, water clarity is... More

As a young girl, this spot was a great hit for Sunday School picnics. However a a grown up. I took this beautiful picture of West Whale Bay and I must say it holds a special place in my heart. If you have the opportunity to visit, please do. I take all of my tour participants to a spot just... More

You would think after three years living on Bermuda I would follow my own advice. Yes I checked the tide times this morning and thought I had planned ok,but after a two hour detour to Dockyard for lunch when I eventually arrived, snorkel and flippers in hand .... There was no beach, just rubbish at high tide mark, the waves... More

I thought I had died and gone to heaven. This beach is pure bliss. Clean sand so soft you can't even exfoliate if you tried! Pink sand the closer you get to the water. Tiny coves for you and your love to lay towels down and have a little bit of privacy. And then the best part.., the water! Clear... More

My family and I lived above this beach for two years 1982 - 1984, while serving with the Canadian Military at Daniels Head, Somerset BERMUDA. We used this beach each and everyday that was possible. I have not been back since that time, plan a trip very soon, the people of Bermuda are the nicest people to meet, very friendly... More
