Well worth the time to visit. Historical building and great period architecture. Walking the inside of the Church and the grounds opens the imagination and gives you a great perspective of the culture.

Located in Spry Street off Broad Street is this historic cathedral built in the 17th century. Very humble interior that takes your breath away, truly magnificent experience to see this cathedral.

We visited St. Michael's while on a 360 tour of the island. As a funeral director, I live for a beautiful cemetery with lots of history. This was one of the most beautiful views from this side of the island.

On entering the Cathedral take time to look up at the unusual barrel vaulted roof. The arched ceiling above the altar, and with a little imagination it is not unlike an upturned boat. There is a beautiful carved pulpit from mahogany wood. The small Cathedral...More

Spent time having a look round the outside of this cathedral as well as the inside. Not quite so central but worth the walk through the town. It also has a very interesting interior.

St. Michael's is a beautiful old church originally built in the 1600's. It's well worth the time to enjoy the architecture as well as explore the cemetery. Some very old stones and markers dating back to 17th and 18th centuries; the history and iconography is...More
