A pedestrian bridge that does open. Not the original, but has a nice arch that commerates the island of Barbados and its independence from Britain. Good photo opportunity.

The dive operation that we used had boats here so getting some pictures was easy. We also went by the bridge on our island tour, so worth stopping for a picture.

Seeing this bridge and arch in person was way more satisfying than any photograph you may of it! Simply wonderful.

Located on bridge street in Bridgetown, Barbados is Chamberlain bridge and it's pretty easy to find. Good photo opportunity. Worth a ten minute stop.

A nice ordinary bridge across the inlet in the centre of Bridgetown. Interesting gateway to the bridge which is an arch which looks much older than it is.

The bridge is a definite perfect photo opportunity. The bridge is in the center area of pastel buildings and the center of Bridgetown on the water.

Make sure to visit this landmark in the centre of the capital and read the Barbadian declaration inscribed on a plaque attached to the bridge. Neat place to see and to take a photo.

Cruise passengers pay $38 to get here - taxis charge $6 from the cruise terminal. What do you see? An old tatty bridge.

Great photos of the parliament buildings. Enjoy local fruit from the vendors at the end of the bridge. Eat local at the waterfront cafe a local institution
