We just got back from our 4th dive trip to Bonaire, the corals and the marine life are so robust. BNMP is a DO NOT MISS location for SCUBA divers!

We've all had "bad" dives but 9 out of 10 here on Bonaire are going to be beautiful. You can dive or snorkel and see a truly amazing underwater world.

I was nervous as it was my first time shore diving without a guide but reading tips online was reassuring. Bought about shore diving to figure what sites I wanted to visit and drove to the location, suited up and got in the water. I only did easy dives and the reef runs parallel to the shore so it made... Bonaire is all about shore diving and its as easy as renting a pickup truck, tossing tanks and gear in the back and driving north or south to the dive site you choose, all are clearly marked. Entries can range from simple to very difficult so it pays to ask for some local knowledge. Every trip I meet great people... More

Try the salt docks or 1000 steps, forget Klein Bonaire, it's hammered and more touristy...too many cruise ships!

the diving here is excellent and it is very accessible. best to dive with a buddy as some of the shore dives are a tougher in and out.

Bonaire has taken great steps to protect the marine environment and the healthy fish and reefs show their work has paid off.

We were here in 2007 and the reef colors and life were much better. The reef has suffered from storms and man caused issues. Several of the reefs had large old tires dumped on them and other trash was noted throughout. They charge a $25 fee for the marine park to supposedly protect it but it's just a cash haul... More
