Amazing view from the beach chairs (which you must rent $5 per chair) First come first serve so if you want a palapa get there early before the cruise ship clans come flocking in. You can walk waist high in the water for what seems like a half mile..watching the kite boarders and the kids learning to snorkel...very peaceful. A... More

We've visited Lac Bay for both relaxing at the nearby bar and beach and for diving with Bonaire East Coast Diving and always had a good experience. Lac Bay is truly beautiful with a large shallow bay filled with calm crystal turquoise water that's only knee deep for long ways out from shore. If you head to Lac Bay and... More

We were here principally for me to windsurf, and the location speaks for itself in that regard, but I would suggest if you want a bit more room around your sun bed then it may suit you better than the adjoining Jibe City. Both have a great bar with typical bar snack food/drinks on offer but we preferred the more... More

We come quite often to Lac Bay, mostly after diving to top of a great day. Always enough lounge chairs, good breeze. Nice cocktails. Tip: this place is used as one of the cheap Island get aways for the cruiseliners. If you are on a cruise please check out this place. If you are staying on the island you might... More

What a wonderful way to relax, we found a ole blue chair to sit in and relax in the emerald blue water. Cold drink in our hand, very relaxing environment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This is a Perfect place to spend an afternoon. It is located on a huge bay that is only waist deep, so you walk all the way out to the break wall. They also have a Beach Bar with fantastic food and drink. You also can watch the windsurfers in the bay. You can rent a lounge chair for $5.00... More

We hung out at Lac Bay for the morning with the hopes of wind surfing but there was no wind - apparently January - March is a better time of year for winds. Nevertheless, we spent some time swimming out to the barrier reef and saw lots of fish and two Spanish lobsters! We ate lunch by the water and... More

At at a shop along the banks of Lac Bay. The water was incredible and you can literally walk across the whole bay waist deep. Beautiful place and the mangroves and the kayaking is great.
