this is a great area for the folks not real comfortable in the water. watching the windsurfers and walking through the sand was a great way to watch the sun rise.

It took quite a bit to get there. Over dirt roads and puddles and mud. And then you turn the corner and you're in the most ideal bay. Turquoise water. Mangrove forests. Turtles. Absolutely stunning. Nothing could prepare me for the postcard perfection. On Sundays they serve freshly caught fish and a mariachi band plays away the afternoon. It's relatively... More

Great bay with safe swimming and perfect windsurfing conditions. There is also an easily accessible snorkelling reef.

We had another amazing two-tank diving morning with Eastside Diviers. Afterwards we enjoyed a great lunch at the Beach House Bar adjacent to Jibe City Windsurfing. Very good bar food and well priced drinks make this a place we love to teurn to on each of our visits to Bonaire.

This was our second trip to Bonaire with the family for a holiday dive trip. On both, we spent our day before departure driving around the island. Last year we stopped only briefly at Lac Bay just to see the sights. This time around we stopped at Jibe City for lunch (Heineken on draft!) and great food. We've now decided... More

We rented golf carts for our own tour of Bonaire and stopped at Lac Bay for lunch, some sun and a swim. Beautiful spot and well worth the $5 chair rental. The food was good especially the deep-fried calamari.

We visited Lac Bay for windsurfing. Spent a lot of time at the hang out bar at Jibe City, the staff is amazing and friendly. Crystal blue warm sea water. So worth the trip!

Amazing view from the beach chairs (which you must rent $5 per chair) First come first serve so if you want a palapa get there early before the cruise ship clans come flocking in. You can walk waist high in the water for what seems like a half mile..watching the kite boarders and the kids learning to snorkel...very peaceful. A... More

We've visited Lac Bay for both relaxing at the nearby bar and beach and for diving with Bonaire East Coast Diving and always had a good experience. Lac Bay is truly beautiful with a large shallow bay filled with calm crystal turquoise water that's only knee deep for long ways out from shore. If you head to Lac Bay and... More
