Rafael was incredible with us. We had everything we could ask for: he showed us the real Cuba, away from the tourist sites to get to know the authentic culture of the country. He was always super punctual and was very attentive to us at all times. He was flexible with our schedules and was always available when we needed him. More than a driver, he was a friend and one more in the group, highly recommended.

We have all known that Cuba has been frozen in time from the 50’s and 60’s especially with the Classic cars. There are actually some very well preserved cars although many of the taxis offered are just old cars so be picky. We had Igor as our guide for 3 hours and visited the Embassy area in West Havana, Fusterland and of course Old Havana. Pay the extra and take the convertible even if you are not crazy about convertibles. Make sure to negotiate and look closely at which car you choose. We ended up with a very good deal at $30 per hour in a 1957 Fairlane Convertible for 3 hours. Most certainly asked for more but again, negotiate here as in everywhere in Cuba. The photo is me in the drivers seat just for old times sake.

The best team we could get. Our guide Leomar and driver showed us Havana as we wanted to see and even more. Our children were also delighted with the classic car ride. I recommend it with all my heart

watch the time, we booked one hour and ended up paying for two. Driver kept saying no problem until it was time to pay. majority of sites in tour were mundane or easily walked to from old Havana

My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing a bit of Havana with Jesse Aguilar and Cuba Classic Tours on May 30, 2018. The combination of walking and touring in the classic car is a super way to get an overview of the city!
From my very first contact with Jack Trout until Jesse and our driver dropped us off at the cruise ship terminal at the end of the tour, we were treated as if we were the only clients they ever had. Jesse was so understanding of my husband's physical "slow pace", and did all possible to tailor the tour to interest and accommodate us.
Jesse is very articulate, and willing to share his country with visitors. He is knowledgeable, warm, and informative. He is very good at asking the right questions to get an idea of how to arrange the tour to cover areas and sights that will be of the most interest to his guests.
We were able to bring an extra SD card, and Jesse took dozens of pictures to document our "People to People" experience for us. The documentation, as well as the memories, are invaluable.
The tour is a great value! We were cruising with NCL, and the cost of the tour is a third the amount of a ship arranged tour. The car only accommodates two or three passengers, so it is a private tour; easy to ask questions, get little known details of the sites, and bask in personal attention!

My wife and I traveled to Havana on the maiden NCL cruise the week of May 1st, 2017. I was fortunate enough to have discovered Cuba Classic when planning and with the help of Jack was able to arrange our tour. We spent 2 full days on the island and both were with Jesse. He took us out in the countryside to tour Vinales, a tobacco farm, caves, horseback riding and set us up with a great Cuban lunch too. Jesse is a man who's knowledge and talents would seem to have no limits. He explained so much about the history of the island, from the 16th century up to the present. He provided us with insight into the lives of the Cuban people, he shared his own life story and truly gave us a better understanding of what life on the island was like over the centuries and what it is like today. Personable, intelligent and considerate, Jesse continued to educate us with information and details about all things Cuban for 2 full days. His sense of humor and warmth towards people in general are unmistakable and always evident. Our 2nd day was spent in the general environs of Havana. We saw forts and churches, neighborhoods and parks, incredible architecture, Hemingway's home and the village of Cojimar. We did an extensive walk around the Old City, had a chance to have another amazing lunch (lobster) that Jesse arranged, and did some cigar and rum shopping too. We capped our second day with mojitos in a very cool little hotel bar that Jesse directed us too. I could go on and on about Cuba. The people were wonderful and the city of Havana has an air about it that is hard to explain and even harder to resist. The absolute best part however, was touring with Jesse. I have trouble coming up with superlatives that will accurately convey just how awesome our time with him was. If you travel to Havana and don't try to arrange a tour thru Cuba Classic you are going to miss out on the best travel experience you can imagine. Jesse is many things but most importantly a very good and nice man who loves what he does and does it better than anyone I have ever been associated with. Do not miss out on going to Havana, and do not miss out on Cuba Classic and Jesse. With Cuba, Jesse and the beautiful 1950 Cadillac on your side, you are going to have a great time. Guaranteed!! Thanks to Jack for his help in planning and his enthusiasm and availability. Thanks to Jesse for everything. Your kindness and patience, your photography expertise, your professional skill in planning our days, and the friendship you extended to us. We hope to return and if we do there is no doubt we would schedule another tour. I believe we would plan our trip to match up with your availability. If we do not return, we will always remember with great fondness the island of Cuba, the city of Havana, and our good friend Jesse who taught us so much and showed us so much and was THE major factor in our having the time of our lives there. Thank you so very, very much.

I would like to recommend this company after the wonderful experience we had with them in Havana.
We arrived on our cruise ship and met our Guide (Jesse) at the prearranged meeting point in the square opposite the cruise terminal to begin our day tour.
We started with a walking tour of old Havana and what can I say about our guide,his knowledge and attitude when showing us around the city were excellent . Jesse ensured we were introduced to all aspects of Cuban life in Havana, including the history and architecture of this wonderful city.
The walking tour was followed by a trip around all the other areas of Havana in a classic American vintage car. It was excellent and again the information provided by Jesse was wonderful and informative.
We have wonderful memories of our visit due to him.
Hopefully we will be back in Cuba in the near future to explore even more.
Again thanks for the great day and we will be happy to recommend this company to our friends.

We just returned home from our cruise to Havana and we cannot stop talking about
this tour. Our previous tour was canceled suddenly but Jack, Jessie, and Katia came through on such short notice. They were professional, courteous, and kept communications with us open right up to the day of our cruise. Katia was our guide and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. What a warm and kind spirit she has! The moment we met up with her she gave us a big hug and I knew it was going to be a good day. Katia was a wealth of history and information. She didn’t just take us to the “tourist hotspots”, she took us around every aspect of Havana and the culture. Our 6 hour tour was entirely planned and organized. We had lunch at La Casa and asked Katia to join us. It was so lovely getting to know her on a personal level. Victor was our driver for the classic car part of the tour and he was always waiting to help us in the car at every stop. This is THE WAY to tour the city or other places in Cuba. Book with Cuba Classic Tours instead of the cruise line. It was worth every penny!! We left with a whole new appreciation for the people of Havana and made a new friend in Katia. She will be the first person I reach out to when I go back!

I had previously made a tour reservation with another company, but they had notified me 1 week before my trip they had to cancel. I had then made a reservation with another company, of which a couple days later goes out of business. Now at this point Im super irritated and am in scramble mode to try and save my experience in Cuba. I literally gave it one last ditch effort at the airport to schedule one last tour, and Jack was soooo clutch for me. I told him my situation, and he assured me the 3rd time trying would be the charm, and he was right! He promised me Id have a tailor-made experience of a lifetime, and I was fortunate to go to his company. We had a 6 hour private tour, that included a ride in a classic car WITH a/c. We got to see and do so much, and even had beach time put in to our tour because thats what we wanted. Our tour guide was very informative, friendly, professional, and had us leaving Cuba with a whole new appreciation. If you go to Cuba, ONLY consider this company when booking your tour period! We had so much fun, we had people on our cruise jealous of my girlfriend’s and I fun tour we had. This was a trip that will NEVER be forgotten, and all because of Cuba Classic Tours! I couldnt care less what trip advisor has this company rated, Id definitely have them as #1!!! I dont even leave reviews, so the fact I am should tell you everything you need to know!

Not to be missed. We did 1.5 hr tour in a classic car and we saw a lot more of Havana this way. Would recommend.
