Walking the streets of Old Havana is a must see while visiting. Lots of street beggars but otherwise a decent place to visit. Although we had no problems we were advised of pick pocketing in the narrow streets.

Every single step opens up beautiful new views with the oldest of buildings and beautiful cars. Stay at Casa Maura...the hosts are amazing, the breakfast fabulous and the location perfect! I'm so glad I've been able to experience the magic of old Havana.

Old Havana is not as old as it was 10-20 years ago. More older buildings are being demolished. More buildings are becoming hotels, hostels, restaurants or airbnb places. So the charm is not there. Since I've been coming to Cuba extensively over the years, I...More

Walk Obispo street, and see the main street through old Havana. Visit the 4 squares , the Malecon, and just wonder the streets and enjoy the sites. So much to see I couldn't list it all.

I didn't go all over Havana, but this area has so much to see and do. Great bars, restaurants, museums, statues, etc.. You could spend several days in this area and have a great time. Lots of history.

A beautiful and safe place to walk around to see many beautiful buildings. There are also many buildings which are apartments that are in very poor condition where most city people live.

Old buildings in need of care. Side streets that show how very poor this country is. Feels like being in a time warp with no sense of hope.

When selecting a tour for Havana I strongly recommend using a company called Shore Trips. Carla was our guide and she did an excellent job. We, in the U.S., could use more useful information before we venture over to Cuba.

As a Cuban I see this place as an icon of our architecture, the tour guides are doing an excellent job with all visitors (locals and tourist), the cleanliness is impeccable, my only negative point is the stature that they keep in the yard for...More
