Who knew there would be a Napoleon museum in Cuba--and one rich in first empire furniture, pictures, paintings, sculptures, porcelains, etc. The building, too, is a gem!

This museum was full of so much interesting historical peaces of work. So well preserved and beautiful, while some I did not know completely what is was, I found it to be an interesting learning experience.

The building itself is amazing with quite the view, especially if you are trying to escape from the heath in Havana, the staff is very helpful! One of the best museums in Havana and a definite must see!

very interesting museum. a rare find. it is supposedly the 2nd biggest collection of Napoleon 'things' after France. the matrons (or guards) are very knowledgable about the intes inside. it is ok to quietly give them a dollar or two tip.

When I read about the Museo Napoleonico I thought that it might be something of a joke. I was quite wrong. This museum is spectacular and quite serious. The displays are first rate and in excellent condition. The museum building is a glory in itself....More
