Ok... first things first... it was a Tuesday night, so I didn't expect great jazz. The band was ok... at best. However, this is a cool little jazz bar. $10 CUC will get you in and that comes with two free cocktails. So, really great value. Look for the British Red Telephone Box. You enter though there. Very cool. Opens... More

Get there early so you can get a table in the front. It is a small venue. The band we saw was incredible with a sax, trumpet, alto sax, piano, drummer, Congo, guitar, several singers...the $10 cover charge includes 2 drinks. Great night of entertainment!!!

But management not so good. Letting a group of 35 tourist that were not on the line in the jazz club first while all others waited outside for and hour. When confronted by angry tourist we were told that they were VIP people. But there is no VIP according to information in our guide books. A somewhat tour guide from... More

This place is somewhat small so if you go on a weekend try and get there early or you'll have a hard time getting a seat/table but once you settle in to your seat, order a delicious mojito and enjoy the excellent show. The music and energy in this place are truly something to experience while in Cuba. Not really... More

On the Friday night nephew and wife arrived n Havana , we went to La Zorra and El Cuervo Jazz Club on Calla 23 in Vedado. This is a basement club in the hipster jazz tradition with limited seating, maybe 150 people. We queued in a long line even though we got there at 10:10 pm and the doors do... More

If you want great music when you visit Havana, you must spend time seeing La Zorra y El Cuervo on Calle 23. We arrived at 10:00 pm when they open and waited in the long queue. Our 45 minute wait was completely worth the wait. Sadly I didn't catch the groups name but the music was works class. Singer with... More

The first night we went it was amazing. There are not alot of areas to sit, but there is standing room. If you want a table, get there early. The first night we went it was 10.00 to get in and that was on a saturday. It also included 2 free drinks. Well worth it. We enjoyed ourselfs so much... More

Proceed onto an old telephone booth into the underground club. Lots of fun for a group. There is a reasonable cover charge which includes two drinks. Close to Hotel Nacional which is a must see spot.

The spot is small but not overly so. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Good room and good sound. Some blind spots to the stage but they have monitors around the room. Lite eats at the bar. I look forward to returning.
