Just go and enjoy it, with a particular attention to the local art, incredibly powerful and engaging. It closes early, so go in the morning or very early afternoon.

Full of modern art of different eras. As with other galleries of its ilk, much of it wasn't my bag and then you see one or two pieces that hit you and you love them. Good air con if you need a break

Quite a large collection of mainly Cuban artists. Well designed building. Some works were rather impressive. If you are an art lover it's worth a visit. If not there are more interesting sights in Havana worth your time.

Art is a big thing in Cuba. They showed a variety of paintings. In contrast to lots of communist countries that showed the paintings of revolutions and workers, it is more modern than that.

The artwork here reflects the turmoil Cuba and its people have endured throughout the years. Helps to have a guide to explain to you the influences on the artists.

The cuban collection is impressive, a nice walk around cuban history. Easy to feel the focus of Cuba in promoting arts. On top, the building is nice and fresh on hot days.

I really enjoyed this museum. It was beautiful. The art is colourful, creepy, beautiful, flamboyant, and everything in between. Also it's air conditioned which is a huge plus on a hot sticky day in Habana Viejo. Well worth the visit!

A real treasure trove of artists you don't normally get to experience and subjects not often seen! Highlight for me was a series of paintings of black people in Trinidad. Rare to see black people dressed in formal wear in early 19th - late 18th century art. Building looks dreary on the outside but is lively, full of colorful work... More

An air conditioned refuge on a hot day . We did only the Cuban Art building The collection of colonial art, in particular, is very good . No interpretation (in either Spanish or English) .I ear wigged a few guided tours... You have to leave your bag at reception .No photography which is a shame as very few post cards... More
