This is a large area with many houses. Some in need of rehab and some rehabbed to their original grandeur. The plaza de la revolucion is here. An important area of Havana. Many classic cars/taxis are here.

Vedado neighborhood is a great option if you want to discover a different Havana. Mostly residential, there are some very interesting places as the "Restaurante la Torre", with fantastic views from the city.

This was the neighborhood I lived in while studying Spanish at the University of Havana back in 1997. On a visit, now, in 2018 it was great to see that so much was the same.
