Night spot for local band performances. The price is a little high for night club scene in Cuba but worth it if want live performances from area bands. You can reserve tables in advance with a bottle. Popular spot. Would recommend for a fun night out. Doors open late so check before going out.

Was not worth the 10 CUC entry as you can hear music that is just a s good for free at so many places in Havana, The noise level was too high and there was no room to dance.

Our casa hosts called to confirm there was a 5 pm show on 1/20 (you can even get quite close with a Collectivo that runs down 23rd). They start selling the tickets at 5, but the show does not really start until close to 6:30. The tables that have round plastic tubs on them are basically reserved for b bottle... More

One thing to know about "nightclubs" in Cuba is that there are usually 2 shows: a matinee (starts at 7-ish PM) and a night show (starts 10PM). If you want a seat, show up 1-2 hours early. If you want to stay for both shows, you have to leave, wait for them to clean the space then pay another cover... More

One of the best places in Havana to see the main salsa groups (like Havana d´Primera, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco,..etc) live concerts! Highly recommended!

On Thursday, Oct 6 we tried to go to the Centro Havana location and we were told by some guy sitting outside that the Casa de Musica was closed because a beam had fallen the week before so the club was closed for renovations. I don't know if this is true, but if you plan on going, I recommend calling... More

Let me start with some key tips for you readers - 1. Go to the earlier performance at 5 as it is cheaper and filled with locals that just want to dance and have fun. This leads to an amazing atmosphere and helps you avoid the singles looking to "mingle" that you will inevitably find at the later performances. 2.... More

The very much talked about Casa de la Musica, Miramar is definitely worth a watch if you visit Havana. But at CUC25 an entry, even the well choreographed and performed cabaret dance performance seems like a let down. Then again, I'd rather see it and say I'm disappointed than miss it altogether.
