One of the worst museums ever. Nothing is explained, the staff is very unfriendly, and it's like an oven, there is no air conditioning or even fans. Two small rooms without a chronological order or a storyline explaining facts. The price is 2 CUC.

This museum is small and simple and contains mostly photographs showing the glory of the Communist Partly in Cuba, represented by the Comité de Defensa de la Revolcion. Don't dismiss this place as it gives a good reminder of how the Communist apparatus kept the...More

We went in here as Lonely Planet gives you the impression that it is a propaganda museum. It is a sad collection of photocopies and junk with nothing of interest to look at. The best part of all was that on top of the CUC2...More

This smallish picturesque display should be visited to understand a little more about CDR, which was/is part of the political system in Cuba. It does NOT have the same content as the Museo of the Revolution as it focuses on the Committees of Revolutionary Defense....More

This building is simply stunning, like so many places in Cuba it's getting there and will be restored soon hopefully. It's worth visiting just for the architecture as it's wonderful. Sadly the museum itself is not well ordered. A museum should tell a story as...More

This museum is dedicated to the CDR party and is very similar to the Museum of the Revolucion. The entry fee is 2 CUCs and there are two floors but not that much to see. When we went, one of the staff was following us...More

though we sort of half expected the exhibits/exhibition would need some life breathed into them. And we were right. Someone with an artistic flair for presentation needs to be given a free hand here. Lots of interesting stuff, but also much repetition, so your brain...More
