Hidden in suburbia this scale replica of the city is truly a labour of love and art. Not a destination but if near by stop and look.

The attention to detail of this scale model of Havana was incredible. Apparently it took over a decade to assemble the miniature out of Habano cigar boxes, cardboard, sponge, plastic and sand. Locals can visit and with binoculars try and find landmarks or their own residences. We were fortunate that we had our guide Jesse from Havana Journeys with us... More

We didn't have a professional guide like another reviewer; one of the workers at the attraction came in and spoke for a few minutes, basically pointing out a few landmarks like the various squares and the cathedral. Without more knowledge of the city, this attraction didn't mean much to me; it was interesting for its detail, but I couldn't really... More

this is the 2 miniature city, and the people there are always working to extent it, you can see a lot of details.

This was a family project that took its members several years to complete. It is a to-scale re-creation of the city. I read that it was "dusty" and needed work, but I didn't see that at all. They have a laser pointer available for help in locating different places. You can walk around three sides of it, which will give... More

Very interesting model of the entire city. Great for viewing everything from above. Also some interesting maps around the walls. There are free to use telescope around the room to view everything in detail. Think is meant to be 3 CUCs for entry and 2 CUCs for taking photos but my group of four were charged nothing and a guide... More

This project was begun in the late 1980's and it has not been thoroughly completed yet since Havana is a big city (400 square miles). This model is a must for those wanting to understand the layout and growth of the city since it was founded on the present site in 1519!

The model of old town Havana is definitely worth a visit. It represents the old, historic part of town. We were told that the model is quite accurate, down to the correct color on the buildings. It gives you a good feel for the layout of the city. They even have a short light show, as the overhead lights dim,... More

If you are into miniatures or if you happen to be right in the area it might be worth a stop. Good way to see an overview of Havana. We were ready to leave after a quick 5 min walk around.

A brief visit here is good to see the size and scope of Havana. One of the tour guides can walk you through the history and growth of the city
